In 1995, the students chose Pier Giorgio Frassati as the school patron. In 1998, the new school chapel was named in his honor.

The chapel was dedicated on March 22, 2019, by Archbishop Rodi of Mobile prior to its completion due to scheduling and construction issues. Through the use of a key-coded door, college students and others will be able to pray there 24 hours a day.
